Dynamic online prices

Cheeper® helps identifying what would be the ideal price for any product based on the competition. One of the main use cases of Cheeper® is to be able to adjust the prices of online products in real time, based on their current values on other platforms. 


It can be a fully automated process (based on pre-defined minimum and maximum thresholds), or combined with a manual approval workflow.  


The speed to being able to change online prices is critical during certain seasonal campaigns, such as Christmas, Black Friday, Summer Sales, Cyber ​​Monday, Valentine's Day and many others in order to offer competitive prices.  


By adjusting the online prices dynamically, two fundamental points are achieved: 


  • Offering the most attractive prices to consumers, consistently, will increase their confidence and improve both loyalty and recurring purchases.


  • Being able to improve sales margins and market positioning, because Cheeper® helps identifying the "gaps" between our prices and our competition.

Analysis of new products

When a new product is launched on the market, it is important to know the price ranges of other similar products in other online platforms, in order to establish a competitive price for our next launch.  


Thanks to the advanced system of internal cross-product links  that Cheeper® incorporates, we can check what other similar products are sold on online stores and at what prices in real time.

White/Own brand analysis

To find out what pricing policies other stores apply to their white or own brands.  

Competitive analysis

To analyze the product positioning strategies of our competitors. This type of analysis would reveal several important factors:


  • What price ranges are being applied to certain brands or products in other online supermarkets, in order to optimize our distribution agreements and margins.


  • Which products our competition is promoting and which ones they might be abandoning or retiring. With Cheeper® it is very easy to infer this information by monitoring which products have not experienced any price changes in months, consistently across different online stores, and which products change prices frequently.

Comparisons between commercial brands

An interesting use case that can be carried out with Cheeper® is to be able to compare the same product, or similar products, between different brands within the same online supermarket. 

Predictive models

Thanks to the price history of the Cheeper® database, it is possible to create Artificial Intelligence (ML) models to predict the behavior of sales prices based on seasonality and historical price variations of related products. This information would allow us to create strategic pricing campaigns more effectively, and anticipate the competition. 

Identification of product removals

It allows knowing if a provider or a manufacturer has stopped selling a product, and even if they stop working with a certain supermarket. 

New Product Alerts

To immediately receive new product launches of a competitor.

Alerts on price changes and removals

To immediately know which products have changed their price and which ones have been removed from an online sales portal. 

Integration with other systems

At a technical level, both alerts and reports can be delivered by email in CSV format, or by web services in JSON format.  


These parameters are configured at the beginning of the service. All the data provided by Cheeper® is easily integrated into spreadsheets, BI systems or other data analysis systems, and is not subject to the GDPR/LOPD  Data Protection Regulations, since it does not contain any personal data, nor are they linked to physical persons or individuals.
